Penny is a very special part of the team. She was bought by Marie as a 5 year old and together they have gone through the grades from Pre Novice to 4* level.

She may only be a small mare, but she is incredibly tough, sound and gutsy and has great scope over fences.

Despite being 17 years old this year, she still feels fantastic and as enthusiastic over her work as ever.

She is still the only mare to date that has won the Best British Mare Award at Badminton for two consecutive years.

Marie is hoping to arrange for Penny to undergo Embryo Transfer in April and then to campaign Penny in the Autumn once Marie herself has given birth to her baby (due at the beginning of July !)
