Puzzle is quite a laid back character in the stable and enjoys as much attention as possible.

Puzzle first started life as a racehorse. He apparently won a couple of races, but was quickly sacked because he kept bucking off his jockeys!

He was bought by eventer Paul Tapner, who took Puzzle to Novice level. Paul also got tired of being bucked off so sold him to my brother Heath.

I rode Puzzle as a catch ride at a few events in NSW in 1999. I loved his amazing jumping ability so took him back to the UK with me. Yes he bucked me off a couple of times early on, but he hasn’t done it for a long time now!

Puzzle has been syndicated to share-holders. He is my top horse at the moment.

He will be aimed for Badminton this season and I hope to improve on last year’s performance where he finished 8th!
