Matt rode Sandy at a 2* in Melbourne, before his owners decided to pay for him to come over to England, for Matt to compete him but with the idea of selling him on. He had quite a few people come to view him but because

of his very unorthadox jump technique he was unable to sell him.

Sandy completed seven 4* competitions with Matt and also won Gold at the 2000 Sydney Olympics! He is now thoroughly enjoying hid retirement with his lady friend Zola.
